He is known as a trusted advisor and fearless advocate. His meticulous preparation means he thrives in resolving complex matters where there is significant uncertainty of outcome and where he can negotiate for the best result or deftly navigate complex litigation.

Kieran has practiced Family Law for more than 20 years and has been an Accredited Family Law Specialist since 2001. He has a well established reputation for providing expert and empathetic advice to become a trusted advisor to his clients. He is focused on working towards a resolution before litigation. Routinely acknowledged by his peers, is recognised by his peers as a “Leading” family lawyer and Recommended High Value and Complex Property Matter lawyer in the most recent Doyle’s Guide.
Kieran counts as some of his most rewarding experiences those coming from assisting people to resolve issues that have international complexities. He has acted for clients in and from several overseas jurisdictions including the UK, New Zealand, The Philippines, India and the UAE.
His legal formation in the regional sphere has also given him a special interest in matters involving rural property disputes. Other areas of interest include injunctions and other interim relief.
Outside of family law, Kieran also sits on one of Queensland’s major not-for-profit boards and leads military history tours to the Australian battlefields of France and Belgium.
With more than 15 years’ experience in family law, Kirstie is an Accredited Specialist who takes a pragmatic approach to family law looking for outcomes which are timely, efficient and cost-effective.
Kirstie is regarded by her peers as a firm yet approachable and courteous adversary. Her clients feel secure in her stewardship of their matters and regularly refer family, friends and colleagues to her.
Kirstie has a particular interest in complex financial and parenting issues and has accumulated broad experience in both areas. She has successfully run complex property matters with international considerations, in both the Family Court of Australia and the Federal Circuit Court, both at trial and on appeal.
Kirstie’s expertise has been recently acknowledged by her appointment to the Queensland Law Society’s Family Law Specialist Accreditation Committee. She also sits on the board of one of Brisbane’s leading schools.

Anna is an Accredited Family Law Specialist and has worked exclusively in Family Law since her admission as a Solicitor in 2011.
Anna previously practiced in Sydney and is experienced in litigation and negotiations in complex parenting and property matters, spousal maintenance and child support matters. Anna’s experience as a Deputy Associate in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia has provided her with a thorough working knowledge of Family Law and its processes. Anna is committed to achieving the best possible outcomes through effective communication and professionalism in her dealings with clients and practitioners alike.
Anna is a committee member of the Queensland Law Society Family Law Committee and regularly volunteers at the Women's Legal Service. Anna’s passion for and interest in Family law was demonstrated in her leadership role as the past Chair of the NSW Young Lawyers Family Law Committee.

Harry comes from a Sydney family law practice, where he built broad litigation experience in property and parenting matters. He aims to be straightforward in his work – giving no-nonsense and practical advice.
He has a particular interest in difficult parenting matters, as property matters involving novel legal issues.
Harry's calm and thoughtful demeanour ensures that clients feel comfortable with his advice from the outset and that his relationship with his colleagues is always productive.
Harry is an Accredited Specialist and regularly volunteers at Caxton Legal Centre. He is trained in Collaborative Law, and has a strong belief in conducting parenting negotiations and proceedings in a way to best serve the children and the long term co-parenting relationship.

Skye has an established competency in getting people to the “yes” stage in resolving financial and parenting disputes as well as tackling difficult and complex contested matters.
Skye has completed an Honours thesis on Domestic Violence and the impact on property settlements.
Skye has been recently appointed to the board of the Family Law Practitioners Association of Queensland (FLPA).

Hannah’s qualifications in journalism give her a unique ability to discern the key facts of a matter and understand the underlying narrative. She hears what her clients say to her about their lives and the intersecting legal issues. This skill is critical in getting to the heart of her clients’ issues and discerning what is important.
Her approach paves the way for early resolution.
Hannah is currently on leave from Naughton McCarthy while she spends a year as the Legal Associate to Justice Kent of the Appeal Division of the Family Court.

Lilian has been part of our team since 2016, while completing her Bachelor of Laws, and graduating with Honours. She is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia, and holds memberships with Queensland Young Lawyers, the Family Law Practitioners Association (FLPA), and the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.
Lilian works closely with our senior practitioners, and favours a pragmatic approach to the matters in which she is involved. Within a short stanza, Lilian has developed the confidence of our clients as a trusted and available advisor.
The support team is led by our Practice Managers Lynn Wheeler and Lisa Di Bella with Donna, Ines, Kim, Alyson and Ruth providing direct support to our lawyers. They too are an experienced, professional team who bring efficiency and empathy to dealing with your matter.
